        “Lefkada is one of the seven islands of the Ionian Sea, along with Corfu, Paxi, Kefallonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos, and Kythira, and it’s one of the very few in Greece that you don’t need a boat.   Well basically all the islands answer to culture, scenery and good food, but in regards to quieter places with lots of history and culture that is not too touristy I recommend Symi!! You can fly directly to Rhodes from many major European cities and then Symi is a quick ferry hop away, only 45minutes by hydrofoil or jetcat.
